We like to share the thinking behind our designs, so here are the design notes from Catwalk and Catcall from December 2019 for your interest.
Catwalk
- There’s a play on words with catwalk and a cat walking. Plus, the cat is obviously walking on the catwalk.
- We added more character and curves to the basic design of our cat from the introvert Christmas Day T-shirt design.
- The cat has an unhappy expression – which it would do if it were actually walking down a catwalk with lots of flashes going off
- We added a 3D effect to the catwalk runway and chose red and gold as obvious red carpet colours.
- We made the two As a little larger to hint at the shape of cat ears if the overall design is seen from a distance.

Catcall
There’s a play on words with catcall. Obviously, we know the other meaning, but we prefer this one.
- We added more character and curves to the basic design of our cat from the introvert Christmas Day T-shirt design.
- The cat has an unhappy expression – which it would do if it felt the need to ‘call’ you.
- Especially if it is calling at 23:19 – we know cats are nighttime animals.
- We added a 3D effect to the phone which was missing on our previous designs.
- The phone is obviously ringing – so your attention is required.
- We made the two As a little larger to hint at the shape of cat ears if the overall design is seen from a distance.
